Introducing the July Kickstarter Workshop, Where the Choir Imagine being able to sing with a group you just met, surrounded It’s scary trying to do something new, whether it's joining a group you don’t know, or scarier yet, singing in front of them. But at our July workshop, keep this in mind: The choir will be singing in front of you. Songs that even we haven’t learnt before. Just like our last workshop in February, we’ll be learning four brand new songs. We're not a choir that sight-reads everything and hears everything with a photographic memory, that's why have these workshops and practise. So, whether you look left or look right, the people you see will be right in the same boat as you, listening and watching closely to guidance from us in a series of short-learning sprints. And, we include plenty of breaks for you to recuperate, relax, socialise, and snack by. The best part of the last workshop – and for this one too! – was when all that work came together, and we actually managed to perform those four songs, in front of friends and family who dropped in. Imagine that: Being able to sing with a group you just met, surrounded by four-part voices, enjoying the wash of sound, and performing for an intimate group of family and Jump Right In (and Out) of the Choir
